On July 9, 2026, the election meeting for the new term of the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) Shanghai Hearing Centre was successfully held at its new location (inside the Changning Campus of East China University of Political Science and Law). Bin Xu, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Director General of the Shanghai Administration of Sports, and Chairman of the Shanghai Sports Federation; Yugang Chen, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission of East China University of Political Science and Law; and Peixin Luo, Vice President of the university, among other leaders, attended the event.
Through election and voting, Peixin Luo, Vice President of East China University of Political Science and Law, assumed the role of Chairman of the Third Board of Directors of the CAS Shanghai Hearing Centre. Llinks partner Mr. David Wu was elected as Vice Chairman.
The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) Shanghai Hearing Centre is the first CAS hearing center established globally. Its primary functions include hosting hearings for international sports arbitration cases, providing business consultations on sports dispute resolution, organizing international and domestic seminars and training related to sports arbitration, and conducting other work related to sports dispute resolution. In the more than ten years since its establishment, the Shanghai Hearing Centre has developed into a crucial hub for sports arbitration in the Asia-Pacific region.
