During the discussion, Mr. Yang Xun examined the interaction between IP law and data law in the digital economy. He scrutinized critical topics including the copyright protection mechanisms for AI-generated content, the legality assessment of training data, and the management of infringement and compliance risks. He particularly emphasized that the rapid evolution of AI technology and its applications significantly outpaces the legislative process, making accompanying legal risks inevitable. Consequently, the pressing task at present is not merely deciding whether to act, but rather accurately predicting and evaluating the benefits and risks brought by AI, and effectively controlling those risks.

With the digital economy expanding and the AI sector booming, legal practitioners are increasingly confronted with complex challenges that transcend traditional IP and data law boundaries.
