On June 26, 2025, the 3rd Frontier Intellectual Property Pan-Entertainment Forum was held in Shanghai, attended by over one hundred lawyers and legal professionals from the gaming, entertainment, and online media industries. Llinks partner Mr. Xun Yang was invited to participate and chaired the roundtable forum on "Collaborative Strategies for Cross-Border Litigation and Local Rights Protection of Gaming Companies."
Mr. Yang moderated discussions on key issues including the choice of rights basis and enforcement strategies in "reskinning" cases, jurisdictional challenges in cross-border litigation, legal and cultural differences in international intellectual property disputes, and responses for gaming companies receiving overseas legal letters. Notably, he also shared valuable insights from his experience assisting Chinese gaming companies with their overseas intellectual property strategic planning.
Mr. Yang's chairmanship and sharing were met with enthusiastic responses from attendees. As the Chinese gaming industry expands overseas, effectively and accurately navigating overseas intellectual property protection and compliance has become a critical topic for enterprises.
