On the afternoon of May 19, 2025, the Crossfire Esports Alliance successfully held the 2025 Crossfire Professional Tournament Player Compliance Training event at the Tianfu Changdao Road Showroom in Chengdu. Llinks lawyer Mr. Roy Chu was invited by the Crossfire Esports Alliance to conduct a legal education training session for all esports players, club operators, and management personnel. The training aimed to enhance professional ethics in esports and promote the healthy development of the industry.
Mr. Chu focused on the theme of legal compliance in the esports industry, providing comprehensive and enriching content. Starting with the essence of sportsmanship, he elaborated on the definition, harms, and legal consequences of match-fixing and gambling-related activities. By referencing real cases from traditional sports, he warned players to uphold the ethical standards of sportsmanship. Additionally, Mr. Chu delivered an accessible legal lecture addressing common illegal and non-compliant behaviors in the industry. He introduced relevant laws and regulations related to sportsmanship, daily behavioral standards, as well as league disciplinary rules and specific measures. He called on players to value responsibility and honor, and to raise their awareness of compliance.
