On April 17, 2025, Llinks, in collaboration with LCOUNCIL, successfully held a seminar themed "Intellectual Property and Data Protection Risk Prevention in Artificial Intelligence," exploring the legal challenges and response strategies related to intellectual property and data protection in the era of artificial intelligence. The seminar focused on these cutting-edge issues and attracted over fifty legal and compliance professionals from high-tech companies.
During the seminar, Llinks partner Mr. Xun Yang primarily discussed various access methods for large AI models, the legality of training data and models, compliance in data flow, and the risks associated with the application of artificial intelligence. The discussion included how to legally obtain training data, how to utilize open-source models to avoid infringement, transparency in privacy protection, and controlling risks related to infringement, automated decision-making, and regulatory compliance when using artificial intelligence.
Llinks partner Mr. James Wang used the AI voice case from the Beijing Internet Court as an example to explore the legal risks and recommendations for TTS products, providing an in-depth yet accessible analysis of the case background, judgment perspectives, and industry practices. Additionally, Mr. Wang introduced the judgment thinking of major internet courts.
