The 2nd International Medical Tourism Innovation and Development Forum of the International Medical Tourism Branch of the Chinese Non-Government Medical Institutions Association was successfully held at Peking University International Hospital on January 10-11, 2025.
This forum focused on exploring the path of innovative development in the international medical tourism industry, aiming to promote the exchange and cooperation of medical tourism resources both domestically and internationally, and to further improve the quality and level of medical tourism services in China. During the roundtable discussion, Dr. Pan analyzed the legal risks associated with data privacy protection, medical practice qualifications and drug certifications, medical disputes, and advertising in the cross-border medical industry, in light of its industrial characteristics. Drawing on his practical experience, he provided specific risk-mitigation measures for enterprises involved in the cross-border medical sector.
