Recently, Llinks contractual partner Ms. Wenjie Xing was invited by China Post Insurance Co., Ltd. to lead a discussion on the significant amendments to the new Company Law and their potential impact on insurance institutions. The session was attended by compliance part-time staff and risk liaison officers from various departments of China Post Insurance's headquarters, heads and key personnel from the risk control and compliance departments of various branches, risk control and compliance personnel from the asset management company, and in-house lawyers from the headquarters and provincial companies.
Drawing on practical experience, the discussion delved into the new Company Law's key revisions, including the refinement of corporate capital systems, enhancements to corporate governance and registration procedures, bolstering of shareholder rights protection, increased accountability for controlling shareholders and executive and supervisory personnel, and the improvement of regulations concerning state-funded companies. The session further explored the implications of these changes for the governance and investment operations of insurance entities.
