Recently, under the direction of the Shenzhen Securities Regulatory Commission, the Shenzhen Private Equity Fund Association (hereinafter referred to as the Association or Private Equity Association) has been proactively engaging with top-tier industry institutions and service providers. They have convened several compliance management workshops to deeply discuss common and pressing issues of compliance within the private equity sector, leading to the establishment of the Association's Compliance Professional Committee (hereinafter referred to as the Compliance Committee).
Following thorough preparation and strategic planning, on the afternoon of 12 December, the Private Equity Association successfully held the founding meeting of the Compliance Committee. The meeting brought together 24 leading industry institutions and 10 service organisations, with the attendance of relevant officials from the Shenzhen Securities Regulatory Commission. Recognised for its exceptional professional capabilities and industry influence, Llinks was honoured to be selected as a special member of the Private Equity Association'' Compliance Committee in the category of service organisations.
The formation of the Private Equity Association's Compliance Committee marks a new step in the Association's efforts to support the compliant development of the private equity industry within its jurisdiction. In 2025, guided by the Shenzhen Securities Regulatory Commission, the Association will, through the Compliance Committee, organise specialised training and discussions on industry-wide and hot-button issues. These will include preventing front-running trades, managing employee securities transactions, overseeing related party and unusual trades, promotional activities, information technology internal control mechanisms, and post-investment management. The Association aims to develop a compliance self-inspection manual for Shenzhen's private securities fund managers, create a set of reference templates for self-inspection that can be widely applied, and based on this, strive to establish best practice cases within the jurisdiction. The Association is committed to conveying the principles that "compliance creates value" and "compliance is everyone's responsibility", guiding the industry towards a culture of law-abiding trust and compliant operations.
Llinks is also committed to heeding the Association's call, continuing to utilise its professional edge and industry leadership to jointly advance the industry's compliance management standards, and providing cutting-edge legal and compliance insights to effectively enhance the compliance levels within the local private equity sector.
