On November 27 and 28, "2009 Finance and Taxation Forum" ("Forum"), jointly organized by the Finance and Taxation Committee of Shanghai Bar Association and Shanghai Lixin University of Commerce ("Lixin University"), was grandly held at Lixin University. Ms. Clare Lu, Vice Chairman of the Finance and Taxation Committee of Shanghai Bar Association and Partner of Llinks Law Offices, led all the Committee members to attend the Forum, and delivered an address at the Forum together with Professor Ruiqing Shao, Vice President of Lixin University. The Forum mainly focused on the Notice of the Ministry of Finance and the State Administration of Taxation on the Enterprise Income Tax Treatments of Enterprise Reorganization (i.e. Circular No. 59) and hot spots on environmental taxation. In the meanwhile, the Committee members exchanged opinions and experiences with taxation experts and professors from Lixin University and Shanghai Jiaotong University.
