On 1 November 2024, Image Core hosted a specialised training session on 'Data Assetisation'. Esq. Xun Yang, from Llinks Law Offices, was invited to present on 'The Theory and Practice of Data Assetisation'. The event attracted a gathering of senior executives, legal experts, and R&D professionals from the company.
Esq. Yang began by delving into the legal intricacies of data, explaining the rights and interests held by various data handlers. He then illuminated the policies and practices surrounding data intellectual property registration and data accounting, supported by insightful case studies. Notably, he highlighted how privacy computation and related techniques can maximise the secondary value of medical and health data, as well as the processes of anonymising and assetising medical imaging data, using examples from the healthcare sector.
