On 14 October 2024, the Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration (SCIA) collaborated with the China-Vietnam (Shenzhen-Hai Phong) Economic and Trade Cooperation Zone to host the 'China-Vietnam Enterprise Investment and Dispute Resolution Training Event' in Hai Phong, Vietnam.
Liu Xiaochun, President of SCIA and Executive Chairman of the South China (Hong Kong) International Arbitration, along with He Dong, Chairman of Shenzhen Shenyue United Investment Limited, delivered welcome addresses, reaffirming their commitment to fostering Sino-Vietnamese economic and trade cooperation. Shenzhen and Hai Phong, being sister cities, were represented by Nguyen Thi Bich Dung, Director of the Hai Phong City Department of Foreign Affairs, who expressed her hope that the event would strengthen their friendship and enhance international arbitration collaboration to benefit businesses from both nations. The event was attended by over forty business delegates from China and Vietnam.

On 15 October, SCIA and the Vietnam International Commercial Mediation Centre (VICMC) signed a cooperation agreement in Ho Chi Minh City, aiming to advance cooperation in international arbitration and commercial mediation between China and Vietnam, thereby serving the economic and trade interactions of the two countries.
SCIA, in conjunction with South China (Hong Kong) International Arbitration (SCIAHK) and VICMC, organized a thematic seminar titled 'China and Vietnam: Economic and Trade Investment and International Arbitration'. Liu Xiaochun, President of SCIA and Executive Chairman of SCIAHK, and Nguyen Hung Quang, Chairman of VICMC, welcomed the participants and pledged to intensify their collaboration to harmoniously and efficiently resolve commercial disputes through transnational 'mediation + arbitration'. In a panel discussion, Mr. Huang discussed 'China-Vietnam Economic and Trade Investment and Diversified Dispute Resolution', responding to inquiries from business and legal professionals from China, Vietnam, and Germany, with over eighty experts attending.
