On March 23, 2024, the Third Plenary Session of the Fourth Council of the Sports Law Research Society of China Law Society and the Academic Seminar on Sports Rule of Law were successfully held at Soochow University. The event was organized by the Sports Law Research Society of China Law Society. More than 150 experts and scholars from sports bureaus, universities and legal practice departments across the country attended this meeting.

In the report session, David presented an academic report on the theme of "Improving the International and Domestic Convergence Mechanism of Sports Dispute Settlement and safeguarding the legitimate rights and interests of Chinese sports".
