On 15 Nov 2023, Llinks partner Dr. David Pan attended the UK-China AI Innovation and Governance roundtable upon the cordial invitation of The China-Britain Business Council (CBBC) in Beijing and made a keynote speech on 'Development status and trend of China's AI supervision, comparison of China and the UK's AI supervision', delivering professional and unique legal insights, which aroused a warm response from the attendees.
In the keynote speech, Dr. Pan discussed the regulatory framework of AI under Chinese law from the perspectives of personal information protection, data security, intellectual property rights, AI decision-making and ethical issues. He then compared and analyzed the regulatory framework of AI in China and the United Kingdom from multiple dimensions.
