On 18 October 2023, IBIWS 2023 was successfully held in Shanghai. Llinks partner Dr. David Pan was invited to deliver a keynote speech on the topic of 'Application and Legal Compliance of Artificial Intelligence in Health Industry'. Combined with the application scenarios of AI in image diagnosis, new drug R&D and chronic disease management, Dr. Pan analyzed some main legal compliance issues faced by AI applications in the health industry from the aspects of personal information protection, data security, intellectual property, AI decision-making and ethics, and liability for medical damages, etc., and put forward possible solutions.
Nearly 300 experts and scholars from government agencies and research institutes in Shanghai and the Yangtze River Delta region attended the IBIWS 2023 in person while 20,000 joined online.
