On October 14, 2023, Llinks Partner Mr. David Wu, as vice president of Sports Law Research Association of China Law Society, was invited to attend the academic seminar on "Human Rights Protection in Sports Arbitration" and made a keynote speech at the first seminar session. The seminar was jointly sponsored by Sports Law Research Association of China Law Society and Shandong University, and co-organized by Law School of Shandong University, and National Human Rights Education and Training Base Shandong University Human Rights Research Center. General Administration of Sport of China, China Commission of Arbitration for Sport (CCAS), universities and lawyers and more than 60 scholars, experts and student representatives participated in the seminar.
David talked about the development of international sports arbitration, and combined with his case handling experience, he shared his experience and thoughts on the connection between sports arbitration and the internal settlement mechanism of sports organizations, the application of arbitration rules and special procedures and other practical contents.
