On August 12, 2023, at the invitation of Shanghai University of Sport, Mr. David Wu, a partner of Llinks, served as a lecturer in the Sports Manager Level Training and Ability Assessment Program held by Shanghai University of Sport. The project is the "Reform and Innovation Project for the Cultivation of Sports Talents in the New Era" implemented by the Human Resources Development Center of the General Administration of Sport. The evaluation unit is the Human Resources Development Center of the General Administration of Sport and the training unit is the School of Economy and Management of Shanghai University of Sport.
In this professional training program, David gave a wonderful lecture on "Sports Law and Practice" to the students. The trainees cover a wide rang, including sports industry companies and market managers at all levels, sports associations and sports institutions, sports companies and clubs, professional coaches, school teachers, media personnel, lawyers and students who are interested in becoming sports managers. Trainees come from all over the world, including Shanghai, Guangxi, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shandong, Heilongjiang, Jilin, Anhui, Henan and other regions.
In order to help the students have a deep understanding of the sports laws and regulations, and to enhance their legal awareness and practical ability in the field of sports, David gave a detailed and comprehensive lecture, which not only discussed the basic principles, legal origins and the development process of sports law, but also elaborated on sports commercial operation, intellectual property protection, anti-unfair competition and sports arbitration, and shared his opinions in the field of sports philosophical value. David created a lively and active classroom atmosphere by combining attractive lectures with vivid case studies and positive classroom interaction. All the participants were fully engaged. After the course, the participants expressed that they benefited a lot from the course and gave it high evaluation.
