From July 27th to 28th, Fund Market held the 2023 Workshop on Big Model Applications and Data Governance. Nearly 100 legal, compliance and IT professionals from dozens of fund managers and experts in related fields attended the workshop. Mr. Yang Xun from Llinks Law Firm was invited to attend and deliver a keynote speech.
Mr. Yang Xun introduced the main risks and common solutions related to intellectual property protection, information security and industrial supervision on three subjects: data, algorithmic models and artificial intelligence. In particular, Mr. Yang shared the hot issues of data rights, compliance of crawler technology, intellectual property protection of algorithmic models, allocation of liability arising from using AIGC, and the special issues from fund industry such as investor suitability management, intelligent investment consulting, and quantitative investment. Finally, Mr. Yang Xun also introduced the practical issues of fund companies' investment algorithms and corpus combined with AI engines of IT companies in light of his recent practical experience.
Mr. Yang Xun's sharing was well received by the participants. With the development of AI technology and its application, fund companies and other financial institutions are increasingly utilizing AI to carry out their business, including intelligent customer service, data synthesis and investment management. While embracing the efficiency of AI, risk control is equally important.
