On June 19th, 2023, Global Suyuan Center Launch and the Second Greater Bay Area "Future Forum" New World Development and China's Digital Economy Strategy were held in Guangzhou. Mr. Xun Yang was invited to the event and discuss China's digital economy strategy with experts from the government, universities, research institutions and enterprises.
The Global Suyuan Center is the first digital public infrastructure in Nansha New District, Guangzhou, which is dedicated to transforming commodity information into digital means of production and facilitating the orderly and efficient circulation of data as a factor of production. Mr. Yang and his team have been commissioned to research on the center's data rules, establish its legal protection system, and assist Nansha New District in innovating the rules of commodities digitalization.
During the round-table discussion of the "Future Forum", Mr. Yang shared his idea about the digital economy development strategy, proposed the rules for data rights determination, including the right to publish data, to control data, and to benefit from the data, breaking through the traditional framework based on property rights, sought for a balance between monopoly over data and sharing of data with an open and sharing attitude, and further envisioned the contribution of data rules to the world's digital economy and trade.
Mr. Yang lecture was highly appreciated by the audience. With the development of the digital economy, digital laws are constantly refined, putting forward higher requirements for legal services concerning data. Llinks lawyers are continuing progressing to satisfy the demands for legal services.
