From April 26th to 28th, 2023, the Second Plenary Session of the Fourth Council of the Sports Law Research Association of China Law Society and the 2023 Academic Annual Conference were held at Beijing Sport University. The theme of the conference is "Implementing the Spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and Comprehensively Promoting the Implementation of the Sports Law". Llinks partner David Wu, as the Vice President of the Sports Law Research Association of China Law Society, was invited to attend the conference.

The conference passed after deliberation the Summary of the Work of the Sports Law Research Association of China Law Society. After the approval from the China Law Society, the new council members, executive members and candidates for the presidency were voted on successively. Wang Ruilian, Deputy Secretary of the Party Group and Deputy Director of the General Administration of Sport of China, was elected as the new president. President Wang then delivered a speech, thanking the China Law Society and all Council members for their trust, and making suggestions and requirements for the future work of the Sports Law Research Association of China Law Society.

On the afternoon of April 27th and the morning of April 28th , the experts conducted in four thematic forums: "The 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the Modernization of Chinese Sports Governance", "Sports Industry and Sports Corruption Governance", "Anti-Doping Rule of Law and Sports Rights", and "Sports Dispute Resolution and Sports Arbitration". Twenty-four experts and scholars reported on the conference respectively, and eight well-known scholars presided over and commented on the academic report in stages.

On the evening of the 27th, Beijing Sport University Salon invited several experts and scholars, including David to have a discussion on theory and the practice of sports law. The salon had a strong academic atmosphere, bringing a feast of sports law to the students of Beijing Sport University.

The closing ceremony was held after the symposium on 28th April. The conference came to a successful conclusion with applause.
