On 17 April 2022, Mr. Chu Ruoyu (Roy), as an attorney of Llinks Law Offices, was invited by TJ Sports as a sports law lawyer to give a presentation on e-sports contracts and anti match-fixing to professional players of League of Legends Professional League. Since e-sports became an official sport in China and features as an official medal sport event for the first time in history in the upcoming 2023 Asian Games in Hangzhou. As the organiser and operator of the League of Legends professional competitions, TJ Sports is committed to promoting the healthy and stable development of e-sports, providing guidance for players in terms of professional training and intensive education, and advocating for e-sports and professional players.
Mr. Bobby Jin, Deputy General Manager of Tencent Interactive Entertainment K6 Cooperation Department and CEO of TJ Sports, and Mr. Brett Sun, Head of Ecological Operation and Development of TJ Sports, took the stage first and provided valuable advice to the players on social responsibility, values, patriotic sportsmanship, anti match-fixing issues, e-sports culture and career development planning of e-sports players, combining what they have seen and felt as frontline e-sports pioneers in various aspects of the industry, and repeatedly emphasized the League's determination to maintain the purity of competitive sports and eliminate any form of violation of sportsmanship.
Since the very begining, TJ Sports has always been working hard in regulating the league and maintaining a healthy ecological environment. In recent years, it has continued to strengthen its efforts to manage and fight against match-fixing. Mr. Chu Ruoyu, who cooperated with TJ Sports Ecology Department on anti match-fixing for years, gave his speech by taking e-sports and traditional mainstream sports events as references to strengthen education on anti match-fixing compliance and relevant legal responsibilities for competitors, and shared the legal notes related to e-sports contracts. Through the case warnings, the presentation of tournament rules and the dissemination of basic legal knowledge, the participants had a clearer understanding of the legal responsibilities and codes of conduct of professional e-sports, which also helped the League to maintain proper values, social responsibility and sportsmanship.
