On July 29, 2022, Llinks partner Mr. David Wu was invited by China Sports Industry Group Co., Ltd( 'the Group') to participate in the third 'China Sports Industry Workshop' organized by the Group and gave a keynote lecture on Sports Law to thousands of employees of the Group.
Mr. Wu has participated in the co-drafting of the sports arbitration chapter in the new Sports Law, and is also an independent director of the Group. In the lecture, Mr. Wu introduced the background and process of revising the Sports Law, the highlights and the significance of the revision, and illustrated the provisions of the sports industry in detail, not only interpreting the sports industry policies from a regulatory perspective but also putting forward his views from a practical perspective. Combined with the analysis of the status quo of the sports industry, Mr. Wu discussed the impact of the implementation of the new Sports Law on various business segments, cross-industry integration of investment and financing projects, as well as hot topics such as NFTs and e-sports in the new era of sports economy. To conclude the lecture, Mr. Wu answered questions raised by the audience through a Q&A session.
The informational lecture of Mr. Wu's not only enabled the employees to get a glimpse of the charm and gain the relevant legal knowledge of Sports Law but also empowered the Group to cultivate compound talents with both legal awareness and sports spirit.
