Invited by the Italian National Council of Accountants, Yuhua YANG and Amy REN, partners of Llinks, jointly authored an English professional article Cross-border Insolvency Practice in Mainland China: Latest Developments and Trend which has been published in the quarterly journal of the International Business Crisis Observatory of the Italian National Council of Accountants.
The article was well received by the readers, and Ms Yuhua Yang was invited to be one of the panellists to give a speech on the webinar (The evolution of the discipline of the crisis and insolvency at an international and cross-border level) hosted by the Consiglio Nazionale dei Dottori Commercialisti e degli Esperti Contabili (CNDCEC) National Research Foundation (FNC) and the International Observatory on Insolvency on 11 July 2022. The webinar was well attended. Together with other prominent speakers Luciano Panzani (former President of Rome Court of Appeal), Prof Bob Wessels (Leiden University), Prof Stefania Pacchi (University of Madrid Carlo III), Giorgio Corno (Court of Monza), Antonella Tanico (Court of Rome), the panel's discussions received extensive attention and was praised by more than 800 attendees.
In addition, invited by Monza Ordine Degli Avvocati and Fondazione Forense di Monza, on June 16, 2022, Yuhua YANG delivered a presentation at Monza, Lombardy in Italy, in respect of the Legal Profession and Professional Conduct in China. Hundreds of Italian lawyers online and offline participated in the event.
From June 17 to 19, 2022, Yuhua YANG attended the first large-scale offline meeting held by PLG International Lawyers, a professional network of international lawyers, in Rome after the COVID-19 prevention and control measures in Europe were greatly relaxed. She also had in-depth discussions with lawyers from several member firms in Europe, the Middle East, North and South America on cross-border business in the post-pandemic era.
Finally, Yuhua YANG visited several Swiss lawyers with whom LLinks has been collaborating.
The recent catchup with various European lawyers has further strengthened Llinks international networks and enhanced our close collaboration with foreign professionals in cross-border business.
