On March 30, 2022, Dr. David Pan, a partner of Llinks, was invited by the Compliance and Business Ethics Working Group of the European Chamber of Commerce in China, to have a sharing for nearly thirty general legal counsels and compliance officers on the topic of export control and trade sanctions in the Russia-Ukraine conflict.
In the sharing, Dr. Pan analyzed the impact of export control and trade sanctions on Russia based on the major sanction measures imposed by the United States, the European Union, and other countries and regions in combination with the timeline of the Russia-Ukraine tensions. He summarized the risks of export, investment, and settlement for European enterprises operating in China. According to the operation conditions, Dr. Pan put forward practical and effective suggestions for such enterprises to legally reduce the risks of export control and trade sanctions. Dr. Pan also had in-depth discussions with the participants, and the atmosphere of the sharing was very active.
