On January 25, 2022, Llinks partner David Wu was invited to participate in the live broadcast on "Sponsorship and Broadcasting Disputes in Sports Events", the second broadcast of "Sports Dispute Resolution" Series jointly organized by China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission ("CIETAC"), Sina Finance and Tencent SSV Communication Department. Mr. Gu Yan, Vice President of CIETAC, and David Wu, CAS ad hoc arbitrator for the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi and Partner of Llinks Law Offices, and Mr. Chen Feng, expert of Hangzhou Asian Games and lawyer of Caian Law Firm, as well as Ms. Liu Ying, Partner of King & Wood Mallesons, acted as panelists.
During the broadcast, David Wu, combined with his rich experience in dealing with sponsorship and broadcasting disputes, shared with the audience the characteristics of sponsorship contracts, the legal character of broadcasting rights in sports events, sponsorship and broadcasting disputes cases, and gave practical suggestions to the contractual parties in order to better protect their interests in the cooperation of sponsorship and broadcasting.
The live broadcast is the second consecutive broadcast that David Wu has participated for the"Sports Dispute Resolution" Series. It attracted more than 28,000 viewers through online live platforms, and was widely praised by the viewers.
