On December 9, 2021, Shanghai city saw the grand opening of the 7th ACCP Compliance Summit Forum hosted by ACCP Compliance Professionals Association. Many compliance practitioners were invited to attend in-depth sharing and exchanges at the summit forum, with a large number of compliance group friends taking part in the event virtually. Under the theme of 'seeking sustainability with compliance', the summit focused on compliance enforcement trends, medical health compliance, and data compliance, providing a communication platform for professionals in this regard. Llinks partner Mr. David Pan was invited to deliver a keynote speech.
Focusing on 'typical data compliance issues in digital transformation scenarios', Mr. Pan holistically analyzed the key points of data compliance from two aspects viz. 'perspectives and 'industries' and explored the frontier issues of data compliance. As for the background and objects of data compliance, Mr. Pan illustrated the data classification system and the relevant identification of special data, and made an analysis on the liability for personal information violations and law-enforcement key points from three perspectives which were 'national security, 'corporate assets' and 'personal information'. From the perspective of industry practice, Mr. Pan focused on two major industries: healthcare and retail, introducd the distinct characteristics of data in special industries along with third-party management issues to provide informational guidance for companies.
After the sharing, Mr. Pan prepared a quiz session on challenging and hot issues in data compliance and then conducted an in-depth discussion with the audience. Mr. Pan's sessions were well-received by the audience.
