On June 29, 2021, Mr. David Pan, a partner of Llinks, was invited by Siemens Healthcare to share insights on the topic of 'Personal Information Protection and Data Compliance' for Siemens Healthcare's personal information protection and data security compliance day series.
Starting from the concept and connotation of data compliance, Mr Pan progressively focusing on what data compliance means for foreign companies as well as emphasizing the importance of data compliance.
Subsequently, from the perspective of national security supervision, maintenance of enterprise assets and personal information protection, through the analysis of healthcare-related cases and business scenarios, Mr. Pan illustrated in detail the legal challenges that Siemens Healthcare may face during the whole cycle of data utilization. He also noted risk disclosures to current common methods of data processing.
Mr. Pan suggested that companies should take comprehensive consideration of take data planning, data management, data security, and data value, and seize the opportunities for medical data utilization on the basis of legal compliance.
In the subsequent panel discussion, Mr. Pan, together with representatives from the technical and R&D department, and Siemens Healthcare's data compliance ambassador, conducted a Q&A and discussion session on the current hot issues of personal information and data protection. They shared the latest cases of data utilization and protection from different perspectives, and discuss the current legal and policy problems.
