Dr. David Pan is an alumnus of Harvard Law School, where he earned his Master of Laws (LL.M.), and Shanghai Jiao Tong University's KoGuan School of Law, from which he received his Doctor of Jurisprudence. He is admitted to practise law in both China and the state of New York in the United States.
With two decades of legal experience spanning China and the United States, Dr. Pan is well-versed in the business cultures and legal systems of both countries. He has worked at two prestigious Chinese law firms and served as the General Counsel for a well-known multinational corporation. Dr. Pan has handled complex transactions for domestic and international investors and investment institutions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, foreign direct investment, strategic alliances, cross-border transactions, technology licensing and franchising, and bulk commodity deals. His clientele includes a wide range of state-owned and private enterprises, from start-ups and transitioning businesses to established companies, across industries such as automotive, investment, energy, healthcare, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, food, manufacturing, culture and sports, retail, consumer goods, and real estate.
