Chris Xia, Partner
Ms. Xia graduated from the East China University of Political Science and Law with an LLB degree and an LLM degree. She obtained her second LLM degree from Ghent University, Belgium. Ms. Xia joined Llinks in 2008. She possesses rich knowledge and practical experience in security issuance, M&A and restructuring of listed companies, and equity investment. In recent years, Ms. Xia has been recognized as an Elite Young Lawyer and Rising Star by CLECSS, China Business Law Journal, IFLR1000, and other legal media.
With more than a decade of experience in security issuance, Ms. Xia has completed dozens of domestic IPOs, offshore issuance of global depositary receipts, refinancing of listed companies, and acquisition of listed companies or foreign acquisition projects.
Mr. Xia has contributed to the publication of the 'How Red Chip Enterprises Return to the Domestic Capital Market' and 'The Legal Due Diligence Complete Handbook' (published by the Law Press China).

Ms. Xia specializes in capital markets and has advised dozens of companies on their IPOs, refinancing, and M&A. As of late, Mr. Xia acts as the partner-in-charge of several transactions, including the issuance of GDRs by Gotion High-tech and its listing on the SIX Swiss Exchange (SWX); the introduction of strategic investment from Volkswagen China by Gotion High-tech; and the IPO of Jiangsu Runergy New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. on the GEM. Among these transactions, the listing of Gotion High-tech on the SWX marks the biggest equity financing project in the renewable energy sector in the SWX which caught widespread attention across the industry.
